2 Sep 2009. If you're using Windows XP, everything you need to do at this point is simple. While Windows' built-in disk defragmenter does an okay job, it is not. boot time will go down, and your programs will respond much more quickly.
I have both Windows XP and 7 users who work with a lot of files.. With the Windows 7 users, why not let the background defragmenter do it's task? Alex, I see you marked your response as the proposed answer, i unmarked.
